ODU-MAC® Black-Line Compact Class: Mass Interconnect extension

ODU is expanding the proven ODU-MAC® Black-Line with the new Compact Class – a compact, modular and cost-efficient mass interconnect solution for demanding inspection and test environments.

The Compact Class offers up to 1,536 signal points in just half the 19" width, making it ideal for applications with high signal requirements and limited installation space. With four height units and space for four ODU-MAC® Blue-Line frames, it impresses with maximum modularity and supports all available contact technologies. Thanks to mechanical coding and contacting path monitoring via microswitch, the Compact Class increases user safety and prevents mismating.

There are three options to choose from for the receiver: Housing Option, ITA Option and a Connector Option with ODU-MAC® Rapid. The housing option enables ergonomic handling and reliable locking by hand lever. Common test equipment can be easily integrated using ITA. The Rapid series uses a practical half-shell principle that significantly simplifies assembly.

Another highlight is the power block with two 16 mm Lamtac® Flex contacts, which enables up to 600 amps in the smallest of spaces and also offers space for additional media.
The ODU-MAC® Black-Line Compact Class thus sets new standards for powerful, flexible and space-saving test solutions.
