What is embedded hardware?

"Embedded" basically means giving the end user the possibility of a limited operation of a product without the possibility for the user to change programming or the deeper functioning of the device. It also describes the intelligence that IoT brings to an otherwise "stupid" product. At its core, the microcontroller hosts the function (application) in which the main program runs.

But the complexity of tomorrow's products is growing explosively, and this challenges the design work.

EOT will therefore show many examples of where development of embedded hardware can be facilitated with, for example, x86 and Arm cores, development kits and modular designs that eliminate a heck of a lot of code writing and debugging of new designs.
