The range includes long-life models with a lifespan of up to 8–10 years, combined with high charging efficiency even at elevated temperatures.
NiMH technology also stands out for its low self-discharge – only about 15% capacity loss per year at 20 °C – making these batteries ideal for backup, emergency power, and other environments where reliability is critical.
