With the new ODU-MAC® RAPID metal housing, ODU expands its portfolio with an especially space-saving solution. Thanks to the use of metal instead of plastic, significantly thinner wall thicknesses can be achieved. This makes the housing ideal for applications with limited installation space—particularly in medical technology, industry, as well as measurement and testing technology.

The housing is compatible with ODU-MAC® Blue-Line and ODU-MAC® White-Line frames in size 4. It is available as standard in black and orange, allowing seamless integration into a wide variety of device designs.

The space-saving spindle locking mechanism, combined with the proven half-shell principle, enables easy assembly, fast configuration, and efficient cable routing. Optional strain relief plates are available to provide additional stability and ensure a long service life.

Key features of the ODU-MAC® RAPID metal housing include:

- Robust and compact design
- High contact density
- Flush-mounted installation of the receptacle
- Tool-free assembly and disassembly of ODU-MAC® Blue-Line modules

Upon request, ODU supplies the connector including cable assembly. Following the “all-in-one” principle, customers receive interfaces, connection technology, and cable systems perfectly matched from a single source.

With decades of experience in the development and manufacturing of connector solutions, ODU supports its customers from consultation through design to production and testing. Thanks to a high level of vertical integration of around 80% and a global network of locations, customers benefit from short delivery times and reliable, crisis-resilient supply.
