18 April 2023

True to tradition, EOT - Electronics of Tomorrow will feature a well-known lunch keynote, and this year the choice has fallen on B.S. Christiansen - and as something new, an additional prominent lunch keynote. The fair, which this time also has a larger conference programme than ever before, will take place in MCH Messecenter Herning on 9-11 May 2023.

In addition to the many exhibitors at EOT - Electronics of Tomorrow, visitors to the fair have the opportunity to dive into an extensive conference programme, which this year counts more than 55 events, including workshops. That is a record, and it is a record-breaking year in general, because this year there will be two lunch keynotes - visitors can look forward to experiencing both B.S. Christiansen and Flemming Dybbøl, who is known from the Smukfest festival.

'You are not measured by what you think or believe, but by what you do,' is a well-known quote from B.S. Christiansen - an observation that the special forces soldier and mental coach has in mind when he helps to create motivation and results for professionals and elite athletes, among others. It is also an observation that fits perfectly with modern elite sports, where everything is measured, assessed and analysed, and where performance data is absolutely central.

Performance data will take centre stage when B.S. Christiansen at EOT addresses how elite athletes mentally deal with the fact that their behaviour is under constant scrutiny, and what it takes to achieve the goals they set themselves. Along the way, the keynote speaker spices up the experience with anecdotes from the world of sports, and there is plenty to talk about - for example, B.S. Christiansen has worked with professional cyclists and footballers, as well as names such as Viktor Axelsen and Holger Rune.

B.S. Christiansen can be experienced on Tuesday 9 May and, as something new, another lunch keynote will happen on Thursday 11 May, when Flemming Dybbøl takes the stage

The man, who has a background as commercial director and board member of Smukfest, Major Appeal Director at Børns Vilkår (Children's Welfare) and innovation consultant, will speak under the theme 'Rock 'n' roll leadership'. In his speech, Flemming Dybbøl will talk about how to keep yourself and your organisation creative - and he will not hold back on funny data and anecdotes from the world of culture and festivals. And it's no coincidence that he's speaking on the third day of the fair, as this is also where the fair's new event area on sound, The Wave, is hosting its conference.

Knowledge sharing and broadening professional perspectives
The conference programme at this year's EOT is more extensive than ever, with more than 55 conferences and workshops. The internationally oriented programme, which features a large number of Danish and foreign speakers such as Preben Mejer, David Guldager, Jan Bosch, Zachariah Peterson, Farshad Moradi and Keld Norman, is divided into 10 tracks, of which Tomorrow's Technologies, Audio Wave, Industrial Design and Hardware Design are new. Knowledge sharing and broadening professional horizons are once again at the centre of the fair.

The conference programme addresses a number of relevant and highly topical technical as well as commercial issues. The speakers are a mix of Danish and foreign names, who hopefully will inspire the visitors and provide food for thought, Søren Manicus, CEO of Indesmatech, explains.

He has been involved in compiling the programme and is convinced that an ambitious conference programme as a supplement to the fair's exhibitors is an important element in attracting visitors. He elaborates on the four new conference tracks:

It is always important to change and adapt to new market situations, and since the fair is called Electronics of Tomorrow, a track like Tomorrow's Technologies is a natural choice. Here you can learn more about quantum computing and MEMS loudspeakers, for example, both of which are at the forefront of innovation for future technologies.

EOT - Electronics of Tomorrow will take place on 9-11 May 2023 at MCH Messecenter Herning.
